Match Summary:

It's hard to know how to feel about this game.
br> The Wasties were playing one short against last years premiers, so it was always going to be a tough one to win. Pegleg was out for 6 weeks with a pea-heart related knee injury, whilst team politician Lord Mayor was still away for "business" in the gay capital of the world, San Fransisco. Ish was back for another game.
br> Batting first and everything went to plan. With Ish and Chop starring with the bat, the Wasties made a decent total of 112.
br> The it came to fielding, with one short.
br> The 2nd and 3rd pairs got away with some lucky shit. Especially the 3rd pair, with one guy in particular playing more french cuts than Barney plays normal cuts. How those two middle pairs made 40+ scores is still beyond me.
br> The final pair only needed 12, and had the luxury of picking two bowlers. Mid-way through the 2nd last over they were 10 or so runs in front, and had the game in the bag.
br> But in true season 09-10 style, the Wasties refused to lie down, and managed a few pivotal wickets, including a one-hander to Marshy and a Ponting-esque runout to Ish, to put Rollie Pollie 2 runs behind with one ball to go.
br> Final ball, and Rollie Pollies picked the huge gap in the field, and managed to score 2. From the back of the net it looked like a 3, but the ump had the final say and the game was all square.
